ALAMOSA ? Alamosa, Colo. resident Max Melgares, 76, passed away Sept. 12, 2008 at the family home surrounded by his loving family. Max was born Feb. 6, 1932 in Longmont, Colo. the son of Manuel and Tonita (Montoya) Melgares.
