Not many events bring thousands of people from around the world to Cortez on the same day. For Colorado's premier bike tour, Ride The Rockies, cyclists from as far away as Australia and China will pedal through town as part of the scenic tour that starts Sunday.

The local wrestling club won the Four Corners Team Tournament on Saturday at Cortez Middle School. Two of the Four Corners Elite Club not only went undefeated but also won all seven of their matches with falls. Cortez wrestler Casey Lynn and Nucla?s Styker Lane each went 7-0.

A five- to six-minute video is not enough time to tell the full story of how the South Forty Golf Course and Driving Range came to be, but after developing the nine-hole, par-3 course, that's the next challenge Bruce and Nancy Maness are undertaking.

The Four Corners Elite wrestling club will be hosting the first Four Corners Team Tournament this year on Saturday, June 7 at the Cortez Middle School.
